Snowy your not going to win this war of words. The people are on this forum because they are passionate about their fishing and wont tolerate poachers or anyone for that matter that break the laws governed by TPW. One time I was at EML spill-way. There where 2 guys fishing keeping everything, I walked by them to see what�s up and asked them how many fish they had, one looked at me and said, � NO speak the English.� I thought to my self, wow. So I called the game worden. 2 wordens sowed up and to make a long story short they had over 100 sandys of all sizes and I think 13 under sizes crappie and to top it. They were illegals so the worden could not do any thing to them. They just had them let the fish go and where band from that area.

The meat off a small 10 inch fish is so small that it is not worth killing, it is a waste of that fish and all it's offspring! Obey the law and we all benifit!

Ya My Brother and I were debating on doing something the old school way. I was Crazy upset, I walked over there and started telling the worden this is BS if that were me I would have lost my truck, rods, everything I used to get those fish but they just get hand slap, not even a hand slap. One 4th of July night on Fork my Uncle and I caught 30 + or - 9.5" fish. We were pissed. We managed to keep 27 that were 10.5+.

How about if you need food get a job. If times are that hard for you, you can get a job somewhere. The food thing I call BS on. All that time he was fishing he could have been trying to get a job.

Fishing for food was a bogus argument. He could have caught 2 legal catfish or carp and had the same amount of meat or more. The money he spent on bait and gear would have bought plenty of staples.

I know plenty of people from all political persuasions. None of them advocate breaking the law.

Last year I had a guy bragging to me that he was killing the BIG spawning Crappie along the shore here. He says, "I get a limit go home clean em, come back and get some more" I said "I think that is called double dipping" He says " So what?, I only fish for two weeks a year to fill the freezer" I called OGT, the next day this guy was HAMMERED with being over the limits, undersize fish and no license.

I don't ever look the other way, I can get the GW quick and I will call.
