Water is still kinda chilly ranged from 53-58 depending on where we were today. Lake was nice and smooth today (sarcasm).

Oh man! What a day! Grapevine let me down today! Both reels decided that they would let me down today about an hour into the event! The line leveler say screw it I give up!
However I did manage to catch about the biggest catfish (27 inch)
and a 10 inch bass......
Oh well had lots of fun anyway!

1st place - 14.04lbs don't remember names
2nd place - 12.78lbs Steve Lynam/wife
3rd place - don't remember weight Crowley/ Robinson
Big Bass - 7.21 lbs
I think Scott had over 50 boats. Great job Scott!

It will be interesting to see what won it. With all the talk about Grapevine being on, I thought it would be a shoot out. We managed only slot fish, but we had to work hard for that. I will give it a shot next week I guess. Turned out to be a gorgeous day. Boy the weather folks really missed the forecast.
Thanks Scott for putting the BPS Series on. It was really well run.

When I left the biggest catch was about 14 lbs. Three or four fish.

Water is still kinda chilly ranged from 53-58 depending on where we were today. Lake was nice and smooth today (sarcasm). i found 67 degree by the end of the day around 2 o'clock

Yeah it warmed up today, yesterday we couldn't find any water over 60.
