Yes, its open. Some have caught crappie already. Couple tanks where filled over by the lake. Lake looks like the part of RR from west bridge of 3002 and north. Lake is full of standing timber. TPW have not officially stocked crappie yet, but put forage(shad),bluegill,cats, and bass so far. Boat ramp is coming soon. I'd say lake is a good 2-5 years away from being a good for crappie. There are places where you need a chainsaw to get into yet. Only can use a 30hp or less. No talk about permits yet...? I live just about on the lake and see it everyday! Im not sure what lakes I will be able to fish. I hope to be able to fish Texoma. RR most likly I want fish because I have to stay off the lake that week before. I have trips on the books for the 2 tournies.

Haverkamp! Well I am a good ole LP. I am looking forward to visiting home and getting out this lake. Brad how do you have time to tournament fish and coach. Track does not allow me much time. I guess i could make some during the summer. Sure would like to one day.

I got out last year. I promised my father-n-law I wouldn't go chasing a coaching job. Tried to fish the spring CAT tournies last year while coaching. Tough to do!
