I just purchased the Navionics Hotmaps Classic for region 7. I was sorta disappointed to see that many of the Texas lakes only have contur and depth info, nothing else. It's better than nothing I suppose, but I have not been on the water with it yet so I don't know how accurate it is. If it's not accurate, it's useless. Better is to buy the paper map with GPS coordinates and program your own hotspots into MapCreate, then download it to your MMC card.

Does anyone know of a chip with a map of Amistad with the Mexico side of the lake on it?

yea, but map create maps suck! At least the advanced map create side. The easy canned maps are ok but (correct me if I am wrong) you cannot add information to them. I tried to save the easy maps so I could edit them and add way points and hot spots etc. but it wouldn't let me or I didn't mess with it long enough!
Has anyone been able to save the easy maps and edit them in the advanced side?

I feel more like I do now than I did when I first got here!
