I didn't catch it. I was on Lavon when the call came in. You would think your best friend would give you a little info, but there seems to be a tournament coming up real soon, so I figure that I will get the deals after the weigh-in on Saturday.

Have any of you guys ever stayed at the Wayfair in Wichita Falls? Better pack a pistol, not the best area or the best full time residents that live there. Dont leave anything in your boats, heck sleep on your boats!! If you dont want to stay at Wayfair, there is a Best Western in Henrietta Tx off of HWY 287, that is not to bad, not to sure what prices will be. Its around 20 min to lake from the Best Western Been a while since you were at the Wayfair Motel, I see. They have redone the rooms and and have someone on duty at the office all night long now.

Sorry Trapper I have not been there is a while, but they better have put lots of money in that place to make it even close to being ok to stay in.

Yep, gonna be blowin' hard out of the south on Friday and harder out of the north on Saturday. I'll be on the water Friday midmorning. Think it will be a day of just drivin' and lookin'. To all those headed that way, be safe and good luck. I can't wait to see what the stringers look like on Saturday. This is the lake that I grew up on(Mainly Crappie), but never caught a catfish over 4 pounds until about a year ago, when I learned how to target big blues. What are the predictions?? I'm goin' say it will take 110 or better to win this one...
I really believe that this lake has a lot of big fish, and the fishing pressure is slim at best. Just gotta go find 'em on tourney day....
Pezz, you fishin' this one? Noticed that you were from Burkburnett. I graduated from there in 85. Were you around there at that time???
