ringers, the drake is a good mount they have a purple tint to their feathers up close, if you take the breast meat and roll it in corn and peanuts it begins to look like what it taste like! Corn and peanuts?

Those are ringbills and not scaup (aka bluebills).
They are pretty good eating.
