It's time for the 2nd Annual Battle Of The Bass Clubs.

Coppell WON the first event, but rest assure the Ray Hubbard Bass Club if voted to fish, will make a strong showing this year.

Here is a run down of the tournament.

Date: February 14th
Location: Lake Ray Hubbard
Entry Fee: $150 for the Whole Club

This year Scott Gordon, will be hosting the registration and Weigh-In at Bass Pro Shops Garland.

Each Club can bring as many 2 person teams as they would like, and are required to have at least 5 boats fishing. Clubs must make as many 2 person teams as possible, as the TOP 5 from each club will go towards the Final Weight Tally.

There will be a meeting at Bass Pro Shops Garland on Friday February 13th<------ ....at 7PM. Only one Officer from the club is required to be there, but as many members as you would like can come.

Instead of only letting top 6 or 8 enter, we let all members of the club come up and fish. This increase club fellowship between each club.

The cost is $150 per club, and starting position per flight are based on the order entries are collected.

Coppell Bass Club gets to fish for FREE for being the 2008 Champions and will get the Number One Spot in the first launch, and will alter later flights.

There are no off limits, 5 bass per boat.All bass must be atleast 14".....Complete Rules will be up soon, but here is a starter post.

ALMOST FORGOT....

College ANGLERS if you can make it down, you can make a COLLEGE CLUB with all of you and enter as a club, just pay the entry fee and your in. Doesn't matter what school you are from, you can all fish together.

Why would anyone want to take down Coppell, we weren't even mentioned last year during the "who's going to win" discussion!! LOL Looking forward to defending...

We have voted and RHBC will be there in force! This will be my first one and I'm really looking forward to it!

Casey, can't you find a colder date this year? Last year I had to change my pattern up because of the warm front that came in. LOL!! I still remember my fingers were stuck to my steering wheel when I got to my first spot. Dang it was cold!

The Ray Hubbard Bass Club voted on Thursday night to Enter the Battle.

I got home today and had received the entry for the VOUGHT BASS CLUB.
