Where is the weigh in? I'll be there to see this! We should get a watching party at a marina. The camera boat shoudl ahve a wireless card and have another guy uploading photos as the action unfolds. Clint, your email has me STOKED about this! Wish ou the best in this challenge!

JerseyDan- best of luck to you. There are a lot cheering on the guide to earn a big payday and many cheering you on to achieve your dream. I am just totally excited about the whole thing!

wow ocs..In case you didnt read up on jersey dan... Isnt jersey Dan doing the same thing everybody does when they come to lake fork on a guided trip that wants 1 big fish?instead of 1 day hes doing it until he gets it thats dedication if you ask me!....but i say go for it dan,i look forward to watching this first hand.and it isnt really fair that you are pegging him some half-a$$ fisherman who isnt paying his dues...i think moving away from your family in search of a 10+ is paying your dues...and plus...you said that your brother is a guide so i assume you didnt pay your brother when he took you out.thats not exactly doing it on your own.plus i bet you didnt give him 2500 bucks when he put you on a 10+ either did ya?

My brother is a guide on Fork for the last 17 yrs He is a expert
on the lake .and have put famous people on some 10lb. plus including me,...not sight fishing either..out of the last 13 years I have pounded Fork I have only caught 4 at 10lbs.
So that challenge is pretty safe...Why not pay the guide normal
and work as we do...Then you can state I did it on my own.

I think it's great also. Why hate on the guy for trying to obtain one his primary goals in life? If he's got the money and the guide has the huevos then more power to both of them!

As I understand it the girlfriend is not getting a ring because he is spending the money on a fish. If she stays with him that is some girlfriend!

But there are others that believe there are certain small areas on Fork that consistantly hold those 8-10 lb fish, Clints plan is simple..hit every big fish spot he knows in one days time and see if he gets lucky, sounds like a great "challenge" to me and if he gets lucky and one of those many 8-9 lbers is a 10 he is a bit richer for his endeavors.

I wouldnt mind having a peice of that action myself.

Just a guess and to spice it up a little more...

How many fish do you think Clint will put Dan on before he pulls in the 10+?

I say 7 - What's your guess?

You need to keep out of this. Dan issued the challenge to Clint and he accepted. It has nothing to do with you. I bet you don't even know either of these people.

Really unless it's close to 10 lbs we might not weigh everything, it would be hard to keep up with if we forget to weigh one.

As far as other post on this thread, lets try to keep it based on the topic of the Challenge.

More info coming soon.

Casey
