I dropped 3 mpg on the ULSD.

My older Ram w/ 360 gets about 14mpg around town and I'm lucky to get 11 towing a bigger aluminum boat. I would probably be in the single digits if I had a big boat. Not good but its paid for.

I have a '08 F-150 Screw FX4 with the 5.4L and I was getting 11 towing, 14 in the city and 17 on the highway. I purchased a programmer for it and I have increased my fuel economy to 13.5 towing, 15 in the city and 18 on the highway. I drive 70 to 75 on the highway with or without the boat.

Ditto with my 2000 Suburban. 140k miles

Pulling 18ft with a 2008 Expedition, 12.5 to 13.5. without boat I'm getting 19-20 hwy so can't complain...... When towing I turn the overdrive off and that really hurts. I've left it on and improved to 15-16. Anyone else leave it on or does everyone turn it off?

Your Hemi will improve as it gets some miles on it. I had a 06 Hemi and loved pulling my boat with it. 08 Ford 150 gets about 10-12 when I am driving without a lead foot.

'07 Chevy Tahoe, 11.5 mpg average. Seems to be a pretty constant average, trying various speeds and driving techniques only change it +/- .5 mpg.

Christmas night headed to Falcon in a 30 mph head wind my F-250 7.3 liter pulling a ZX225 and a new chevy dually pulling a ZX250 both averaged 9 mpg from Ft Worth to Zapata. ON the way back I got close to 14 running 75 MPH.

I only have 12,800 miles on it.

I do not tow in overdrive and drive the posted speed limit.
