FYI: Fished Bethany at lunch. Casted Super Dupers with no luck. Dress warm, had to keep removing the ice forming on my rod tip. See picture. Seriously... having to take the ice off the end of your pole... Can't say I'd brave the conditions on that one.

I went from 1:30 - 2:30
really slow. missed more fish than ever. only fish I caught were 6" - 7" variety. Maybe caught 5
maybe that is all that was biting and why I missed so many.
If you go... fish by rocks so it is easier to break the ice off your rod eyes.

gold super duper til i hung it in a tree.
and since i was missing so many, i tied on a black and silver rooster tail with about the same success.

Its sleeting..My FIRST day off work in 6 days..but call me crazy..I'm fixin to bundle up and hit Bethany..wanted to hit it really early but slept in till 9....why fish groggy??

FYI...I hit it last night with a gold superduper...I had to keep dipping my pole in the water like fshing84 because ice kep forming around the tip haha..I got 2 solid hits and landed them both...I kept them in a ice chest full of water..I didnt want to take home just 2 and noone else was around so I let em go.....maybe since I let em go good karma will kick in and I'll catch a mess today..tight lines!!

Hit Bethany from 9-12..when I got there it was 23 degrees!! caught 6 took home 4 for lunch....gold super duper once again..

where were you fishing?
i havent seen them moving in the north part of the pond by the little doc.
they should be over there by now.
as slow as it has been.... there will be plenty fish for another couple of weeks.

All were caught either off the dock or right next to it..that was the only place I saw them jumping that morning...I moved around a little bit but only got bites on the north side by the dock
