I am no mechanic, but thought a reminder to not forget is the impeller replacement or check is a must while all this is taking place. Perhaps, some one who has a spare impeller kit can donate as well. There is always some items overlooked so I thought I would point out. Also, bearings need to be replaced/or repacked... We all can assume that this vessel has been sitting for a while so there may be some other critical items that can help cover, please post for Brian to expect and seek resolution...
Thanks! We will get it all worked out. Anthony knows he still has to work for some of this stuff. The only reason I posted about it was I knew lots of people have extra boat junk. for him to go out and buy it all new would be an expensive thing for a 16yr old. I can rebuild the carbs, lower unit, and change the impeller just keep me posted.

Brian, I dont have much for boat items (dont even have a boat) but I looked and I do have an fire extinguisher for him wih a mounting bracket. I must say this is by far the best group of people I have ever seen to help out anyone in need. Keep it up everyone.

I think they do know, thats why they are doing this. When we told Anthony he was overcome. We told him that someday there would be a kid somewhere sometime that he could take fishing.
