Bloody h*** mate, fished the Leeds Liverpool loads of times in my youth (it was where I first went fishing with my Dad). I also have some family in Wrexham, or so I hear cos my Dad goes to see them every now and again, and had a mate in BICC who took me to Halsnead a couple of times. Fished the Shroppy Union canal quite a lot later on, as well as the River Dane etc.


Anyway, haven't been out fishing yet although I did get my license etc. Maybe I'll take a day off work and sneak out somewhere Friday. It's the missus' b'day Saturday, and Liverpool are playing Sunday, and it's bloody freeeezing and my wimpass isn't used to it after 7 years in Cali...
