Wow. First off that is a nice deer, regardless of how it got where it is.
Reporter, You don't help your case much by the way you communicate. It doesn't distance you much from the comments or the picture.

Wow thats to bad. Hate to see a monster deer go like that. The pictue in the truck does not do that deer any justice. Did not think it was 200+" until the picture with the lady. As for the guys that did it, I just dont know, they have plenty of problems coming there way. One hell of a deer though!

I would feel bad if they had some small violation like the tag falling off or not filling out a log and lost the animal because of it. Meaning that they took the animal legally. That is not the case though. They basically poached the animal for a trophy. I don't consider someone stupid for commiting a crime. They had to have known what they were doing. They were just more concerned about a trophy than the laws. Those people shouldn't be hunting. TP&W will take care of them. Not big on making fun of someone's looks myself.

Yeah it's not much of a "mistake" shooting a deer from the truck! And in a park!

The meat is not what they were after, hell it cost 500.00 to have that head mounted, besides that there is such a thing as hunters for the hungry. Also I believe the local warden owns the land next to park where the deer stayed most of the time, not too smart, I am sure they have learned a valuable lesson.

The article listed that they were going to make a replica and use it in their seminars. They also mentioned they would tell the story on a plaque. These guys are going down in infamy. You dont want to be the poster child for Operation Gamethief.
Reporter- thanks for the CAPS LOCK rant. Always appreciated (<----take with a tablespoon of sarcasm)
