I prefer 6 lb but it depends on what type of fishing you are doing for them.

I use 6 lb also, very effective for crappie!

6lb Clear Blue Stren is the only line you'll need for any type of crappie fishing.

You need to get some 6lb and 10lb Viscious Panfish Line in high vis yellow. Great line, no memory and it's strong.

8lb clear blue stren. 10 lb if I go to miss. and fish those big lakes there in spring.

I use 12# fireline with a 8# leader.

10# Stren Original on my jig and trolling rods

6# Wally Marshall Hi-Vis on my dock shooters but that may change to Vicious Panfish Hi-Vis as sson as the dock fishin' starts back

As this thread hints, most anything will work! It's what you have confidence in, plain and simple.

8lb Viscious Panfish Line in high vis yellow. Like Stucky said no memory and strong.

I use 8# or 10# mono depending on how I am fishing.

I use 6lb line all the time. I have learned I catch less fish with heavier line.
