I have a trade show there in early January with a number of out-of-towners. Most will stayin a hotel on 75, just south of 635. Any unique or great restaurants in the area you recommend? I mean anything from breakfast to burgers to a good meal. By unique I mean something different, maybe with some Texas flair, a good sports bar, or even...? There are alot of chain restaurants like Outback, Chili's, etc. but why not let them ebjoy a bit of Texas while they are here. Any recomendations?

Good sports bar with great burgers and other food is Humperdinks on Greenville Avenue near Lovers Lane.
Unique Italian would be Campizi's on Mockingbird at 75. It has a very mob like feel.
Good Italian is Terrili's on Lower Greenville Ave. One of my favorites.
Good seafood is at Daddy Jacks even lower on Greenville Ave.

Love and War in Texas at NE corner of Plano Parkway and 75. Texas flair. Wild boar sandwich is great.

For breakfast- YOU HAVE TO GO TO Cafe Brazil. They are at 6420 Central Expressway (75). It is awesome breakfast about 20 different kinds of coffee. www.cafebrazil.comThere are a ton of options in the Knox Henderson area. For lunch, try Fadi's (mediterranean) 3001 Knox www.fadiscuisine.com. Their Chicken Shawarma is the best. For dinner, a Dallas-only mexican restaurant is Javier's at 4912 Cole Avenue. Call for reservations www.javiers.netThese are my picks for anyone wanting their out of town guests to enjoy the variety of great food available in Dallas. MENTION THIS AD and you will get one blank stare for free!
