I think I caught one that said A. Bartlett Giamati, so I threw him back.

NEVER has been a consumption ban on this lake. Back in the 70's it was completely drained, cleaned up, refilled and re-stocked.

Been dredged at least once since the complete draining.

Thanks, Rudy. No doubt, based on all the pics you've posted, that you seem to slay the slabs there, and they do look healthy. I guess I will have to try it some day. How is the bank fishing there? Any tips?

Bank fishing is awesome right now crappie are just turning on right at dusk from the banks. The bridges have been shoulder to shoulder at dark for about 2 weeks now. Bass fishing is good all the way around the lake from the bank, pretty much all day long.

jesse, all these post on Bachman got my cuoristy up got out there about 2pm worked the banks behind the rec center all the way to the dam and then down the dam to the concrete overflow close to the spillway got a few bumps on my rooster from bream( I saw them, they followed it all the way to where I was standing)but couldn't get the bass to cooperate ??Coulda been those bluebird skies noidea!Took a ride to the creek on Shorecrest ,water was pretty stained didn't have any luck there, thought I'd cut my losses and get home and knock out a few honey-dos so I don't get my pass pulled!! scared
BTW I the opposite rocky bank directly under the landing strip is where I seen folks get into some monstor carp 20 plus lbs.been a few years since I've seen that but theres a good chance no one took them home!! grinSo they may still be in the area??
