I recently aquired some wheat and have 2 questions. How do I sour the wheat and what is the best way to bait a catfish hole with it? Well, maybe 3 questions. How do I determine a good spot on the lake to place this soured wheat? My wife and I are fairly new to catfishing and would like to be a little better.

PUT IN PLASTIC BUCKET cover with water add yeast or beer set in sun for a week or three leave lid loose, youll know when ready the smell will tell you. I just sprinkle 3 or 4 cups in 3 or 4 different spots go back to 1st place and start fishin no good go to next and so on. if their there about every 30 min. throw another cup or so

If your wife use knee highs stockings, fill them with the wheat, soak them. Then take them to the lake and look for treelines or other structure. Set one out then go and find another spot to set another out. When you got them all set, go fish the first one. If you don't get a bite in 30 minutes to a hour, move to your next set. I always keep one stocking to throw out over board when I set in the area. You will need to weight down the stockings. I usually use sour maze. I usually tie the stockings to a tree and sink them half way to the bottom. Helps get the scent out. Good luck.

take a 5 gal. bucket, put deer corn in half way, put 3 beers and fill the rst up with water to corn line, let sit 1 week and your ready

Kind of like the post above but different. Take a 5 gallon bucket fill half way with milo. Cover Milo with Hot water and a cup of Sugar. Put lid on lightly and wait about a week or so. Broadcast around your fishing holes with a cup or coffee can. Drink 3 beers.
