i've always heard everybody go to the "river". why doesn't more people fish rowlett creek? or maybe i'm just nieve to the fact. is it hairy gettin to, or not as much fish, or what?

Wow! thanks for all of the info ya'll. I would like to hit the big lake for better fishing but dont have a boat so im pretty much stuck to the banks. But I'll definitely use the info to try and find them crappie. If you have any good spots along the banks of Ray Hubbard for crappie that would be great too. And if Rowlett creek is nasty, then so is Ray Hubbard since RC dumps into Ray Hubbard. The fish still taste good to me though.
Hey Tarpon, Im lookin forward to reading this seasons posts on Rowlett Creek.

RC can be ruff even on a bass buster boat or tube.. But you can catch a limit when they are there.
