pretty sure its real, they bowfish for them during this time of year.

edit to say, I think they have done some hue/contrast saturation corrections with photo shop to make them pop-out a bit more against the water so if you think it dose not look quite right that could be the reason why.

I bet there were some big scalloped hammerheads cruising around under them. They love to eat stingray.
