LKTTU,

I bought an '84 16' aluminum bass tracker with a 40hp here on the TFF for $1300 three years ago. Until this last summer, I have had no problems with it. My wife and I have taken it to Lavon many many times. Good boats sold by great people are available here for not a lot of money. Good luck!

my first boat was a 86 Ranger with a 150hp for $4500. i updated the electronics. it is a great boat. a web site that i find interesting in www.crankyape.com they sell repo boats and rv, atv ect. i have no relation with them and have not purchased anything from them. they had a new repo 2007 from a dealer that had no motor very cheap,
again be careful but there are tons of used boats out there. if you go to a dealer be prepaired to walk away.
you will get the best deal and can always come back. you will get a better deal from a private party
