Anybody have any success today on Lewisville? I was all fired up about my shiny new TNT slabs and Prune Pickers, and worked from the Old Dam cut around to the twin poles, zilch. The funny thing is there were probably a dozen other boats around and no one seemed to be catching much except one guy in a pontoon boat that was just plain slaughtering them! Must be a Sandie Whisperer...

east of the telephone post i got into some hybrids around 9:45 am one of them being 24 inches was a great fight and a great meal ...was out there on a green and white center console nitro ... had a couple of boats come up and tried their luck next to me but by then for some reason it just died out....

My buddy Herman and I ended up boating over 100 sandies, crappie and one black bass for good measure.Found crappie, A BUNCH of 'em under the Little Elm bridge, all but two, dinks!
coming back, about halfway between the bridge and the tree line, the water literally exploded all around us with no forewarning! These were magnum sandies, and we were hitting doubles for a good streak, then as suddenly as it hit, it stopped. Kept coming back towards the white house, and halfway between the tree line and the white house, in no more than 10-12 ft of water, the lake literally blew up again! More magnums!
Then at Deadman's, the birds were working their magic, and a mini boat show quickly formed-- lots of surface action, mostly small. then as Herman and I were working with due diligence on the dinks, I look directly across the lake from Deadman's and i saw a massive "bird work" in progress, so we reel in and head over, and there are birds and fish everywhere! Too hard to resist, so the Rooster Tails go to work, and unlike the dinks at Deadman's these are decent to near magnum sandies!
We only kept 2 crappie and 25 truly quality sandbass to split between Herman and me, and maybe next time soon, our electronics will be up and running again! they just flat quit on us, so we tried spots that i could visually line up, bridge pilings, and "bird works", and overall, not that shabby!

We hit the sandies from midafternoon to about 7 pm on and off. nothing doing in the morning at all. herman's first double shot, two dinks that on further review in the pic might be small hybrids, although yesterday we were sure they were sandies. Good Times, Rudy
