I really appreciate the tips sir!!! Yep, a big National College bass tourney this morning but traffic was rather light IMO. Fished from 10:30AM til 8PM, had lunch at Sneaky Petes in between. Went all over and caught NADA thing and was rather disappointed but I remained determine and stuborn ...and until 7:30pm the hybrid decided to pop the shads at twin poles. Finallly had my first bite of the day and had the good feeling this gotta be my personal best hybrid. Felt like a 10 pounder. My drag went crazy but after a long fight, it was my first ever double hybrid...hehe One on the slab and took the flies. But it was a bit tricky using the landing net for both so the one on the flies came off The one caugth was 23" and the other one was about the same size. So the last 30 minutes save the day Thanks again!! It was nice meeting Noel (Navi)! What a friendly guy!!! Todd and Navi, yes there is a tournament, lots of boats. Look in the areas from Twin trees to Lake Dallas cut and even as far back to Dead Man's... Gravel Pits are holding fish but they move around a lot.
Good luck and be safe.

Okay so it is a striper... Now thet eyeball on the slab what did it belong to? Let me guess...... a fish!!!!!!!! Maybe a yellow bass........ What you think ensign???? I give up--nefishknows everything so no need to ask me. But I would put money on it that it is a hybrid--If you look up the growth rate of a striper--they can be 22-30 inches AT 4 YRS--

i guess the only way to show you the difference is to take you to texoma and boat some stripers and then we can go to chambers and boat some hybrids them i guess you will see the difference.
