Todd and Navi, yes there is a tournament, lots of boats. Look in the areas from Twin trees to Lake Dallas cut and even as far back to Dead Man's... Gravel Pits are holding fish but they move around a lot.

Good luck and be safe.

Mando's buddy--the red and white Tahoe guy was out again last night--I'm thinking a TFF lurker from where he shows up-- I wished he would lurk on to the posts where it said that motoring up to a boat to observe them and see if they are catching is a no-no. Other than that LL was fun last night. Saw everyone over where Mando was and wanted to stay out of that mess--found a new hump/ridge that I hadn't fished before that held a bunch of sandbass and small hybrids. Finally got into a couple of decent hybrids at the end. TIP OF THE DAY: ASSIST HOOKS! Schriek Trailers in Weatherford did a great job welding a new spindle on my trailer--glad to have it back on the road. Would have been a cheap fix if it hadn't been for the $300 tow home! frown

Mondo put them eyeballs in formaldehyde and loan them to me and then my slab can see where it needs to go to catch fish.

The Red Tahoe and the CC Trophy where out yesterday. I know a few got a little perturbed by my comments on the other post but they need to experience it n order to feel the full effects of the frustration.

Yes, the lake is not mine, however, aside from scattering fish these bozos are plowing into fish at 40-50 miles per hour and casuing unessecary wakes. There are some folks out there with kids on their boats or one of those wakes could casue an unsuspecting fisher-folk to fall of a platform.

It is unlawful for any person to:

1. Operate at a rate of speed greater than is reasonable and prudent or greater than will permit him to bring such boat to a stop within the assured clear distance ahead.

2. Operate so as to cause a hazardous wake or wash.

3. Operate in a circular course around fishermen or swimmers.

10. Operate any vessel or manipulate any water skis, aquaplane or similar device, in a willful or wanton disregard of the rights or safety of others and at a speed or in a manner so as to endanger or be likely to endanger any person or property. (Violation of this provision shall be punishable, upon conviction, by a fine of not less than $200 nor more than $2,000 or by confinement in jail not to exceed 180 days or both.)

I agree that is why maybe we sould be able to say something without the worry of retaliation and being single out as lake owners.
