I have caught a mess of them also with a cane pole and a crappie jig dangled just in front of them.

I love using a weightless plastic worm. Cast beyond and drag across their face and BAM. It's funny watching them use their front legs to stuff the worm in their mouths. Great fun, a small snagproof rubber frog is the best lure I have ever used. Years ago I spent many an day fishing soil conservation lakes in Western Oklahoma. Frogs were a bonus to the excellent bass fishing. MO

Frogs don't eat fish and are a good sign that the lake is in good shape. Other then eating them I'd leave them be.. Actually, frogs...especially bullfrogs, do eat fish...heck, they eat almost anything from insects, rats, mice, snakes, eggs, unsuspecting birds, small mammals, and even eachother! It just so happens I was watching videos on youtube and other places of different frogs eating different things last week...But on the other hand, Its all about size.(Wether the fish is larger or the frog). I catch largies and guadalupe bass and channel cats on frogs and toads I catch at the river all the time.
All I want to do is fish!
