I posted a pic a while back of a 7.1# Talapia and a fellow responded saying that they don't get over 5# or so. Here is the new Pending TPWD Bowfishing Record Blue Talapia and is also a pending Bowfisihg Association of America World Record. (The BAA is the only organization that keeps world records for bowfishing.) This outstanding talapia was shot by an 11 year old friend on mine, Robert Blackburn. Robert holds more TPWD bowfisihing records then anyone i know at somewhere around 130 I believe! Congrats to Robert for a fine fish! Stats: 10.3 lbs *CERTIFIED SCALES*22" length 22" girth Browning Discovery set @ 26 lbs Synergy 4003-FWS 200# FastFlite ShurShot Penetrator

BTW, it was not shot at Fisherman's Corner which is a pay lake. It was shot on a regular old lake here in Central Texas. Robert's dad gets all his fish weighed on the certified scales at Fisherman's Corner, hence the pic!
