If I wanted to try to make some of it into a dough bait mixing it with cereal, has this been tried before? any thoughts?

not trying to improve it before I get a hook wet with it, was just wondering...

Don't mess up a good thing. Stick with the dip bait and use it the way it was designed. It will catch plenty of fish as is straight out of the tub. By the way, ceral wil attract carp. If you add anything, add cat tails or fibers to make a punch bait out of it. No need to touch the bait then.

No need to fix something that ain't broken!!! I switched from punch-bait to secret "7" early on this year. As many of you know me you know i was a die-hard punch guy used to be a team-punch tournament guy......not now & it's my choice!!! I use what works best...my partner Johnny and myself won palestine with Team catfish products & a little $$$$ at big splash on the "7"...We have fished it heads up many times with equal tackle & hooks & the "7" won each time.....Thanks Jeffery!!! and congartulation on winning the prepaired bait championship!!!!

Congratulations Jeff on the big win at the prepaired bait championship. That speaks volumes for the secret 7 bait. As Big Sam stated we have switched from using Danny Kings to using not only the secret 7 bait but many of Team catfish's products. Me and Sam do a lot of fun fishing but we also take the tournaments we decide to enter serious.We have a blast while fishing tournaments just like we were just fishing around the house but we will use what we have confidence in to put fish in the boat. Team catfish tackle and the secret 7 bait are a great addition to our arsenal that we use. We have found that secret 7 will catch both blues and channel cats. When we used DK's you would have to develope a feel for when to set the hook on channel cats but not with the secret 7, blues and channel cats will absolutely hammer this bait until there is absolutely no bait left on the hook. Not only is that an advantage when tournament fishing but when I take the grandkids out they can easily catch fish on this bait. Everyone is usually quick to say that pre-paired baits will only catch eaters and although you will catch a lot of eaters if you are around bigger fish they will also hammer this bait. Our average size fish has gone up compaired to the size fish we caught on the dk's. Thanks again Jeff for an excellent bait. 7777 AKA 777 LOL!

I purchased a 64oz bucket of Secret 7 and Dead Red's the other day. I am hoping to get it tomorrow. I will try it out this Monday. Wish me luck!!
