the best use I have come up with for the launcher is
topwater and the fish are locked in on very small baits.
In the past I have frustated with fish busting all around
and ignoring standard topwater presentations.

I can use a small white fly (like a clouser minnow) , a 3 ft leader and throw it a mile with bait casting gear.

It rarely tangles.
