ha no TX Griz,,,,but that made me laugh hard enough to get a look from my wife... A priest is the technical term for a fish whacker/pacifier...

it really depends on what rig i am setting it up for and i am sort of a novice compared to a lot of guys on this site for stuff like this so i will defer to them but i just built one that was about 25yrds long out of 60lb flouro with 100lb hollow core that i will attach to a Bimini knot from the main line on my jigging rig.

Mojo, yea sorry bout that, i sent the email to you about the time you were going thru your 4th girlfriend or was it your 4th margarita  so i can see where you missed it. i will set something up where we can do some fish cooking at my house and you and Brian can come over and we can drink beer, eat fish and make wind on leaders for the trip. What, did you lose my ##? I fished the Pac. coast for 15 years & never caught a big-'butt like that (no, not yours, Bill!)   that is one of the best-eating fish in the ocean right there! where did you catch it? looks like a river? save me some. Oh, BTW Joe, weren't you supposed to bring me a couple blackies from your last trip for sashimi? I expect to see you after TBB....... tight lines all! -B

I didn't keep much from our last trip to Venice. I still had some in the freezer and the other guys didnt. I will make a run by your house after this trip for sure. My Smitty plate and harness will be here in a few day. I hope I have a need for it on this trip.

i caught it in what they call the wrangell narrows, its a passage between two islands southwest of Petersburg Alaska...i will be getting with you and Mojo shortly to set up a day to do some drinking and lie swapping.
