I was wondering what the bait holders for this stuff costs? I fish a lot of drifting jugs using DK blood. I would be willing to give it a try if I did not think the terminal tackle would break me. What are the fury thangs and the purple nurples ya'll are talking about? Do you speaze the stuff in something like a a tube bait?

I finally got to go fishing this week and used my SECRET-7...I had trouble keeping 2 rods in the water!!!! It got bites pretty quick. I dipped my DK in the Secret-7. But I have rigged up some dip tubes for my next trip to the lake.

The only bad thing was there were not any keepers in the area...but it was fun messing with little ones. I was fishing from the bank on Waco.

was everything else the same? same rig, same depth, same spot? if anything other than the bait changed too, that could be a factor. but sometimes catfish key in on one bait to the exclusion of others, but usually it is something they eat naturally that is in "season". who knows. trying to figure the fish out is half the fun though!

Very well said Navato.....you are exactly right!

It's kinda ironic that cja1975a mentioned shrimp. We have sold the heck out the DEAD RED Blood Spray to folks that are soaking their shrimp in it. I never thought this product would be used in so many ways......

How does HogWild hold up to secret 7 and DK?

Just cause there's water don't mean there's fish

I just ordered some on Tuesday, when I get it I will post how I do as well, I use DK blood and do quite well so I will have to test them side by side.

I have used secret 7 my last 5 times out fishing and had chicken liver baited up next to it and both baits go back and forth fish after fish. My last trip I didnt bring any liver just secret 7 and caught 9 within an hour. It will be a go to bait in my boat as well as good o'l chicken liver, it just stays on the hook alot longer than liver. I will have to try out that blood spray next.

catch'n???, glad you had good luck with it, I used it for the first time on Friday and again on Sunday, I did not even get a bite with Secret7, the observations that I had was.

1. it is hard to get on the hook, even with a dough bait hook, 2. it disinegrates within 5 to 10 min from the hook when in the water.
3. No bites vs DK.

In my opinion unless I am doing something wrong (which is possible)it is not worth the money, 23.00 for something you have to buy other (more expense) equipment to get it to stay on and rebait every 5 to 10 min (more expense)wich makes the bait go faster, it is not worth the money, I will probably just seal the lid and drill some holes and use it for chum. All in all I really did not care for Secret7 vs DK
