"I'll never mess with bee's or wasp anymore, and I'll never gig another beaver..." Words from a man who learned things the hard way

Most of those outfits listed cost more than any four in my boat. I can get by with a Revo S or ABU Record 40 and a Medium action 7 ft American Rodsmith or 6.5 ft medium action Allstar topwater rod, and 15 lb Big Game line. I might try 15 lb Viscious, but I think it will be a little too stiff. Could buy some 12 lb flouro, but I'm too cheap.

American Eagle Rods HP560 or HP600. One is 5'6" and the other is 6'0". Both are medium action and can handle jerkbaits well too. Shorter than the others mentioned but with such little baits they work well. For traps I'd have to jump up to a 7 medium.
