The tour really needs a stop out west. Eagle Mountain would probably draw 80-100 boats in march/april, especially if it is on a Sunday. If it is not during the summer months, Lewisville would get at least 70. Guys will be fishing closer to home next year and a high guarantee tournament like this will bring out the west guys, for sure.

i every angler i drew has gotten 60 dollars from me in every tourney. i cant speak for everyone else, and if you draw me in sept. you will get 60 dollars no matter if we run all day or if we drop trolling motor at the ramp and start there. i agree with you an off limits would be great for one week before the tourney. the lakes we fish makes no difference to me.

Ive offered my boaters as much as $50. 1 guy gave me $30 back, the others have accepted $40 after some negotiating (they told me they didnt need that much but I insisted).

That is exactly what I have done in the past, and I only fished one BWS tourney this past year, but fished in 07 and never had one accept more that $40, and had 2 or 3 guys only take 20-30. Coach

What is the proposed schedule's, seeing how the first post was deleted?
I'm sure there could be some way for both trails, to draw anglers from DFW as well as Deep east Texas. It just takes commitment on the anglers part. Remember each has to make there own mind on which trail or tournaments they are going to fish. If Teams are your thing then that's fine too.
I guess it's hard for you guys to drive down here, but most down here arn't going to travel up to DFW 6 hrs one way, when there is a tournament or two or three every weekend here on Sam Rayburn, it's hard to get these guys to travel to Toledo Bend ?????????????????????????
