Wow, what some incredible stuff! We have a trotline out on our local lake right now. I baited it last night just about and hour before dark with regular Danny King's. We've used shrimp, liver, and 3" frozen shad and we would catch one to two catfish every time we run it and all of the bait would be gone so they were eating it, they just weren't going at it hard enought to get caught. When I picked it up I could not believe what I was seeing. Every hook had a catfish on it. We had some little ones we had to let go, but for the most part they were all keepers. If you try this though, make sure you take some needle nose pliers with you because they will be hooked deep. I don't think I had any actually swallow the hook but they would usually have the whole hook in their mouth.

I have had my faith restred in DK's, however, I would like to try Sureshot but, the hassle of ordering it makes going Wally World or Cabela's and getting DK's so much easier.

The big tub of Dk is on sale at Cabela's for 6.88, it is marked at 8.99 but rings up 6.88.

I just found out the guy that runs the bait stand about a half a mile from me sells DK's in both the large and small tubs. I plan to use a lot of it in the next few weeks. I think I am going to put out another trotline as well so I can fill my freezer this summer.

Any punch bait on the market will catch catfish ......this time of year it's not that hard....just fish with what you have confidence in ....I have used most of them and caught fish on all of them that I used....if it is on the market someone has spent many hours perfecting what they think is the best bait .....

I don't plan to buy anything from DK until I get my Catfish Gold subscription refunded. Paid for a 2 year subscription in December and nothing has ever come. I guess they got me.

With the bait too...I have 4 gallons sitting right next to my boat in storage to help me remember what not to buy!

DanV: I don't need the money that bad...it is much more enjoyable to bash the rip-offs quite frankly.

They have my address and can mail my refund to me if they care; which obviously they don't. It will be a cold day before I go to the trouble you indicate.

Curious though, what is your connection to DK since you seem to be taking up for them?
