Sweet rigs, they do look a bit short though. Are you putting them in a shallow area?

you know it would be really easy just to glue extentions on them on the boat before going over board...also the shorter they are the easier they would be to move.

Let me ask an unpopular question.
Isn't using crappie condos made of all that PVC (and sometimes plastic buckets) just going trash up the lake over the years? I know that all fishermen (myself included) leave a little trash when our hooks, lines, and sinkers break off, but that's a different issue compared to these giant chunks of non-degradable plastic.

Well I sunk them on a point in about 13-15 foot on lake Palestine this morning. Theres alot of bass that feed in the morning on this point and I can never find them after about 8am so Im hoping a few will move to these. I could have made them longer but the biggest is about 4.5 feet so in that shallow of water I think it should work

I hope you got that PVC for free............cuz that stuff is expensive. Nice looking piles though not all that expensive, ive looked into doing the same thing and a 10' stick of 1/2" is about $1.75

No it is the illegals on the bank that trash our lakes out. That brush pile will help the fish by creating a place to hide and hunt.

Interesting. I have thought about doing some 'similar' ones, but have not as yet. Only concern that I would have, is that I 'suspect' that they won't stay put.
And given the lake yesterday and last night, they may not be there today!
I'm thinking about taking three, and connecting them with rebar in a 'triangle' pattern so that it has a more stable footprint on the bottom. Thoughts?
Hope they work out for you, and stay put.
