I talked to the owner of Marine Outlet today, and let me tell you, you will never meet a nicer man. Rick is not only donating gifts, but also offered me a spot on two local radio shows. He is also going to advertise for donations on the Eagle 101.7 FM and KTEM 1400am. I can't say enough nice things about him! After pounding the pavement for donations, I collected (2)Cotton Patch Cafe gift cards (4)Temple House of Lee gift certificates (2)McAlister's Deli-Temple gift certificates I left donation flyers with MANY businesses for the managers. Let's cross our fingers! If anyone has any suggestions please let me know and I will do my best to get it done. Zach's friend Blake Green and his business partner have donated the use of their commercial moonwalk for the kids. I still need to call the park however, to see if it will be allowed. I have many donation letters out and am waiting on responses.

We still can't figure out why because they have been open for a couple of years now. Oh well it worked out to our benefit First we went over the big Berkley exhibit. They had the big trailer and tent full of products. We started chatting with one of the guys there, and please forgive me because I don't remember your name. He was so nice! Not only did we chat it up about lures, he also gave me a name and number to call about a donation. What a wonderful guy! Next stop was the Army Bass Anglers. Another great group of guys! We gave them some flyers and some information on our event and if all goes well they will be joining us! Man what a nice boat they had!
