No problem at all. Those older Pro-Max's are not as strong as the newer ones, so please don't expect to run a really big MPH with that engine, unless it's been modified!

I agree.

I just sold my 2007 20XRD/Merc 300 for $42K this week.

I ordered my new Bullet. It will be my 7th one since 1993. I have owned Tritons and Gamblers also in the same time period so I know a little bit about them. I go back and forth between the 20' boat and the 22' boat. The 22 is much better to fish out of with 3 guys and it does ride much better. The boat I just sold would run 102 loaded to fish so it is quite a bit faster than the 22.

Honestly there are better riding 20' boats out there but you don't buy a 20' Bullet for the ride. Now the 22 is a different story. I will put the ride of this boat up there with any of them. Plus there is the cool factor of owning one. Its kinda like the Corvette of the water.

This is not to take anything away from any other brand boat. There are a bunch of good boats on the market today but there is definitely something special about these boats. Some of you will never get it and some of you will never care either way.

The thread was started because a man was asking about a Bullet. Shoot me a PM and I will let you drive mine. Then you can decide for yourself rather than talking to someone who has talked to someone that has a cousin that has a brother in law that has ridden in one 20 years ago. hammer

Later,

Ken

Steve,

Thanks for the input. I hope I can get across my major hurdle and get mine sold. Any way I will own it one way or another.

A 21' will definately be my next boat.

Every bass boat rides rough in 3' foot chop. Anyone that tells you otherwise is pullin your leg. I have tried the hammer down method in a lot of boats and they all get beat to heck in rough choppy water. Slow down, trim down and let the bow do its job and you will have a nice ride in any boat. Of course length does make a difference. I won't own anything under 21'.

Matt, she is sitting in storage under cover waiting for you. You will be getting a fine boat. If I had not got the Allison, the Bullet would still be my ride.

I have owned a Ranger, a HydraSport, and a Laser and will put the Bullet up against any of them. Fishes great, runs great, rides great, and still turns heads everywhere you go. All were great boats, I just happened to like the Bullet best. Personal preference only.

Steve will fix you up. He makes some great props and will work with you any way you want. He is an asset to this forum.
