Columbia PFG cap with long bill front and long flap in back. Mesh vents on side, fully adjustable and rated at UPF 30+. UPF 30+ is embroidered on edge of bill. Got mine at Academy. Hardly ever leave without it now but when I do I sorely regret it. Best cap I've ever had. Also has adjustable strap to cinch up under your chin. Have never lost it on plane.

Guy's why do we have to post wacky stuff when someone ask a serious question and why do we have to respond with some of the BS that we do,cant someone ask for help and get it without having to go through the bs,seriously.can we keep it on topic.

Huckleberry you do this alot on this forum, but im asking you to refrain from this kind of carp and respect someone elses honest question.
Ronnie i can honestly say that i have seen you fish in that hat otherwise i would ask you not joke around but you honestly do fish in one from time to time.

Please guy's remember to respect someone else's post when they are asking a simple question.

I use the columbia flats cap. Actually keeps me feeling cooler because the sun's not baking my neck.

I like Huckleberry's and Ronnie's posts!

Surely a grown man could put up with a little bit of funnin'. Geez, do we all have to be PC now? Even here?

Never mind, I'll just retract my comments. Thanks for the help from those who posted links and information.

If you are that thin skinned you wont make it on a forum anyway. Most of these people post this just trying to get a laugh no reason to go off the handle because you are having a bad time in real life. No one on here knows whats goin on behind your computer. Relax and laugh.

I use a baseball cap from bass pro.

Yeah but sometimes people are asking for health reasons and besides that picture that Huckleberry posted was him in the early days when he was with that band that played that song

I wear a bucket hat, don't laugh it is true. I also have a visor and a Orvis hat that has insect repellent in the hat. My hair covers the back of my neck so that is not a problem with the sun on it. I use sunscreen if I am gonna be out over a couple of hours or so fishing.

I have a hat much like the white Yamamoto hat. Good thing about it is that when it gets HOT, you can wet a cloth hat. Remember white reflects heat the best...jime

Mine has a long brim which protects my face, and a flap in the back which keep the sun off my neck and ears.

I'll second the Columbia PFG cap. $16.99 at Academy. Works very well.
