This thread came out of the hybrid section of the forum. Hope there are a few of the Granger Gang out there willing to give up a Saturday to help these guys out. Let me know and I will get the ball rolling. http://texasfishingforum.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/ubb/showflat/Number/2197559/gonew/1#UNREAD

Dave, Count me in, this is a great opportunity. Do you think there is an opportunity to fish during the months of June - September. As you probably know the fishing starts to decline in October, what is the possibility of getting the date changed?

I'll make contact with the guy ramrodding this event and see if we can get it done earlier. Thanks for the assistance. Knew I could count on you all. I'll need to know how many soldiers you can take in your boats. I know Doug can take a whole battalion in that boat of his.

Hey dave just came across this, I have 2 boats my Tracker which I could take 2. Then I have a 15 foot flat bottom with a 15 horse motor. It is real wide 48 inches at the bottom and has a trolling motor, not sure if any of the guys I fish with could be available to drive that one but can check. Only problem is I think the Thorndale BBQ cookoff is that weekend and most of them BBQ on my team. Gonna have to check that out, but maybe someone else could drive my other boat?? If we needed it.

Hi guys. I am the Ramrod so to speak for this. LOL not really I just want these guys to get out and about. Some of these guys are National Guard and Reserve unit guys all mixed in with active duty. Some injuries are not noticed by mere sight while others are quite obvious. Some injuries are from combat tours and others are from the wear and tear of just being in the service. Granger is close enough that it will be a day trip which means their families will be invited as well. Family is a big part of the healing process. I am a firm believer that so is fishing. This is a big reason why I decided to take this huge challenge on. They need to get away from Ft. Hood and all their appointments and the constant reminder that they are hurt. They need to feel normal again and they need to be reminded that they are heros. This Ft Hood Fishing tour is going to be a big part of their healing process and I am proud that you guys are willing to step up and make it happen. Thank you very much. Mike Nashif SSG US Army Ft. Hood, Texas

Hi Rudy!! I am trying to figure out a way to add Richland Chambers to the list without running out of steam. Any ideas?
