i would own one in a heartbeat, i have talked to several people and have heard from tons of people that have them and they say its the best boat they ever have owned. i have heard of zero problems, the least i have heard from any boat brand.
what complaint have you heard ronnie?

I have heard that their customers rate them very highly. I have seen that they have one heck of a good look and the few I have looked into have an above average fit and finish.
I did hear the glove box on the dual consoles were too small but they have fixed that......I hear.

3 guys in my club bought them when they came out in 2005 and 2 have had problems with gelcoat chipping and rotten carpet. Both of those were sent to the factory and fixed so they do stand behind the product. Both are 2006 LE-21 models. The hull looks similar to my Champ 206 and is a good riding hull IMO. I have also watched resell and think you have to give up too much to move them. That said if the price was right on a year old model I would buy one since I think they have the bugs worked out. Good luck.

very good boats. ride VERY good. and finish work is very good. NOT very fast, but acceptable as a "tournament" boat.
yes, the new glove boxes are much bigger.
and, if you wanna "pimp" one out, they can do it for ya.

Well i talked to the owner one day at lake welsh and he said he bought all the old Cobra hulls when they went out of bussiness. The only change they have made is the spash guards and few miner tweeks. I owned a cobra and i liked how it rode and fished. I just hated the owner and company. I like them and id say give them a chance.

I had a Cobra and was very pleased. If I cant tear it up then its a pretty solid boat and I had no problems but that was a Cobra and I think they used a different type of glass.
I started to buy one but when it came down to it I purchased my new Ranger for about 3K less for the same length of boat and motor hp. And that was after talkin to several dealers that kept sayin what a good deal they would make me on one. And its a fact that Ranger has a way better resale. So for me it was a no-brainer...Good thing to.

i wouldnt ever own one. i have heard quite a few stories about them I dont like. My opinion is just that: opinion. I can say this, Legend builds a good boat. What we've seen (not heard) isn't anything to be alarmed about. One thing many anglers don't realize is there isn't a perfect boat out there. I see some of the same problems in all of them, regardless of brand. I don't run a Legend, not do I have any affiliation with them, so please consider my opinion very unbiased. I've sent Rangers, Skeeters, Champions, and virtually every other brand of boat back to the factory at some point. Certain boats I've sent back countless times. But Legend builds a very solid boat, their customer service is what I would consider above average for the industry. So buy with confidence. They are a good boat. And they've shown they are going to be around.
