WTH did you do to your shoulder?

Surgery. ripped the ligament holding it all together, completely in half, and shoulder dislocated. been going on for 5 years,
just too busy to fix it.
Anyway, Doc says I'll be at 100% by Sept, & I finally get to go back to work next monday.
BTW, Ronnie, been taking 1200mg-advil to function for the past 3 yrs. I'm now down to 400mg-day, & I should be down to no meds/pain at all in another 2 weeks.
I just want to go fishing. that's all.
I may even break down and go crappie fishing!
arm is VERY weak.
Wanna see an angler go crazy?
give him 4 weeks off work, 4 weeks of great weather, and then cripple him so he cant hold a rod!

It will be sooner than that for me. I want to do at lease one 30hr and one 52hr prior to this. I have some friends lined up for the 30hr. Anybody want to hit a 52hr in the DFW area and ride down sometime this summer?

I had a freinds dad give me an older bottom fishing rig. The Penn reel is a huge one and looks to be in fairly good condition. I am going to go through it and clean it up.The reel has turnbuckes to secure it on the rod. I havent looked at the model # yet, but the rod has some corrosion on it and the eyes are corroded and loose from the rod. I am looking for a stout rod in the North Dallas area that someone is looking to get rid of. Let me know what you have. Thanks,
