Hey ChickenWilly, Seen you on the bank section too. If you want to try for those sandies and hybrids below Lavon, I would try clousers. I've had luck on a red and white clouser with brass dumbell eyes. Its a real easy fly to tie. Im sure if you google "clouser" youll find lots of examples and tying instructions
John 5:24 Very truly I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.
1Peter 3:18 For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit.

For the bluegill, try tying some Cap Spiders. They are dirt simple to tie. 1/124 ounce crappie jig heads with the heads painted black with Loon's Hard Head and then a body of ultra chenille and add some rubber legs. Once you get used to tying the rubber legs then advance to spinner bait skirts for the legs. Careful with these as the silicon makes it easier to break the legs when tying them in. Barlow's in Richardson has about a billion different spinner bait skirts available for cheap.

Have fun with this stuff.

Hare's ear nymph. Use a small float indicator and just let it settle down by the weeds. Bream / crappie love it!
FISH ON!!! ummmmm off

Bream eat mostly insects in various stages of developement: pupa, larva, ect., so trout nymphs in sizes 8-14 are really great for bream.

I might suggest a seabooger in addition to the great flies above. It's a large weedless wooly bugger with saddle hackle tail and dumbell eyes. Can be tied bass or bream size. Easier to tie than it sounds, but d.e.a.d.l.y.Go get 'em ChickenWilly!
He leadeth me beside still waters.
