I went to the bike park for an hour this morning and caught 4 and 3 of them full of eggs. I was hanging up on some underwater structure where the bites were coming and kept losing lures and a few fish. I was spending too much time retying.

If it has to do with fishing it is always worth a drive. You can't catch a fish on the couch so you might as well drive down. I will be at Lake Athens all day trying to catch a ShareLunker. Wish me luck.

There was over 40 cars Friday morning in the parking lot, if you think that is crowded. That is too crowded for 5 an hour, but not too bad for limits.

Report: got to the creek before lite on sat mornin. mlient and i caught about 40 sandies. the yellows moved in as well and those things got pretty annoying. the fish actually started to spawn at about 4 pm saturday night. i was standing near a shallow spot and could see hundreds of sandies and yellows. so after this rain it should kick into high gear. ill be out there flyfishin in the am mon.

Went to Rowlett creek behind the park on 66 today. Got there at about 2pm and fish under the 66 bridge. We left at about 6pm. I caught 7 Sand bass. 3 were really big. My buddies girlfriend took some pictures. I'll post them up once she uploads them. We were the only people there and thats just how I like it!
