I'm new on this site. I can honestly say, If I'd known about the site earlier, I might have caught more fish in jthe years before. There's a lot of knowledge from these guys posting in here. I've learned so much, and my "catching" instead of "fishing" has improved.
Shut up and fish!

Well I finally made it to the S.G. today. I was a little late(1000), but I did just make the tail end of the AM bite. I did not slay'um but I did have fun. I also got to try out the newest fly rod.

Does anybody know where to buy live bait near Tejas? It's been a while since I fished there...don't know if they still sell them at the gas station on 2338 near 3405...any help is appreciated.
A bad day of fishing is better than a good day of working.

does anyone know if the rain we got on Monday was enough to help out Tejas so the whites can make it passed the bridge down stream?
Fishing and Hunting are not everything, they are the only things!!!!!!!!!

I doubt it. When I was out there last weekend the water was BARELY covering the bridge. I walked across in my shoes and my feet didnt get wet. I am headed back out there again tonight. One of these times Tejas is going to produce!

I caught 2 crappie at Tejas. I think we just missed the evening feeding frenzy. There was a lot of bait fish / predator action when I first arrived. I think Tejas may finally be waking up!

I'm assuming you were on the lake side (east) of the low water bridge? What were you using for bait?
