top water rouge. Throw it out...let it sit for 20 seconds, then twitch it. Hammer time.
He's out right now - he just called.

If a man wants to harvest his catch, he has every right to. Some people like to eat bass too. I guess i just dont like it when people take and keep blacks... just cuz thats all i fish for really... besides sandies but the fillets i get off of those go to charity... great fish... if ur gonna eat em, hope they taste good! ida given em a kiss and released em for someone else to catch but hey everyones got there own ways... like i said... good catch

Bass are tasty! Two 5-6lb bass is nothing. If you had kept 25 then it might be a problem
Wreck 'em

Looks like your Dad puts most of us to shame!!! Wish we had a lake in Colorado that would produce bass like that, even just occasionally. Unfortunately, we have to drive 3-4 hundred miles to even stand a chance for a day like that.
Tell your Dad congratulations for me!
Regards, & Good Fishin', LlindeX

ya in case of none of you remember this same time of year last year, the same guy posted pics of his dad with about a 20-25 lb stringer from pines, and showed before and after pics of filleting fish...I am right there with him, this is the time of year when I like to sight fish for females on beds, and take them home and eat them!
