thanks yall. i hope i can catch them at Smith Ranch but if i cant we may put the boat in at CBSP

Went out to hook the boat up early this morning any my hat blew off my head. That changed my mind about it.
Maybe next weekend or a Hookey day at work this week.

Goin' this Friday. Fishing oughta be good just hope they get some rain before then so they can do away with the no-open-flame rule. I can eat cold food but gotta have that coffee in the morn!

I was there all weekend and the fishing is just OK. Friday caught 16 on minnow type soft plastics. Saturday was windy and caught just 6 all day long. I did see a guy trolling small crankbaits in a kayak that caught 16 on Saturday. Sunday was too windy to get the boat out and just wade fished for a couple of hours and caught one small largemouth.
We had a big group of guys and we did manage enough fish for a fish fry. Caught about 70 fish for the weekend 17 guys. Half of them caught were females.

bump again, anyone been out lately or heard anything? i might give it a go thursday or saturday and would appreciate any tips!
