I am lucky to live on the lake. I couldnt imagine driving to CC from Dallas and filling up the truck and boat every weekend. It would easily be $120-$140 for fuel plus drinks, and misc tackle. All the more reason to sell your boat and let us full time guides handle all your fishing needs. Just playing, but it would probably be cheaper though! LOL

And your point is? Please state facts (actual documented facts, testimony, etc.) that support your position. The premise that Cheney (not Chaney) made millions is true in his position as CEO but I don't think that is your inference. I apologize in advance if I have mistaken your intent.

So as Joe Friday asked, the facts please.

I wonder if the Government will start a program similar to ease the cost to families. They do it for food, and utilities... why not fuel?
rolfmao food and shelter are necessities, gas to go play in your boat is not.

The solution is simple... Use Democracy and voice your opinion at the polls... find out what each candidate is going to do about the price at the pump. It is a big issue that trancends class structure, race and whatever else the country is divided on! Everyone needs to fill up to get to work, get the kids to school, get to the lake, drive to the welfare office, etc.

When those annoying campaign people call at supper time, ASK THEM WHAT THEIR CANDIDATE WILL DO ABOUT IT!!! Then hang up before they can lock you into a survey smile

There is a bright side to the high gas prices. The gas prices are helping marriages stay together, because noone can afford extra-marital affairs or justify the gas it takes to drive away from the house. thumb

we need to develop alternative energy sources in the future. its not something we can do overnight, but we need to get the ball rolling so we are not so dependent on fossil fuels. they have us over a barrel.

add a sail to your bass boat, its windy enough here, everyday, without end. I wish we could harness cold weather as an energy source. Or turn crappie into fuel, which wouldnt help us now since we cant catch any or find them. just some thoughts.

Come on guys, the gas price is supply and demand, it is not controlled by the President.

Trust your own instinct. Your mistakes might as well be your own, instead of someone elses.

Especially for those who cry and blame the Oil Companies about the GAs prices, ever dig into this mess to see how much the Oil Companies are making vs. the Gov. per gallon of Gas sold.

There is no reason for having 30plus grades of gas in the 50 States.

There is no reason for having all the fossil fuel available right underneath us, and we have to go buy from someone else.

There is no reason for spending big money developing new technogy and fuel alternative, yet at the mean time, we are not building any processing plan for the fuel we have.

There is no reason for Enviromentalists-liberals to blame America for polution, yet it is ok for the rest of the world to polute else where.

I wonder why the liberal media don't have what they so called "Second Hand Polution" like "Second Hand Smoke". Smoke that is 6" from my nose is less dangerous than smoke that is 4' away for a person sitting infront of me? I don't inhale thru a filter the whole time...duh!!!!

Headlines read:

Last night a smoker shoot/stabbed his wife and children after having too many cigarettes.

A 13yr old girl got pregnant because she and her bf smoke more than a legal limit of cigarettes.

Mother and unborn child SUV was fatally hit by a guy who had way too many cigarettes over the weekend. He is in serious condition and charged w/ smoke and drive.

...and on and on....

So you see, it is only true when you agree with the liberal media because they want you to believe it their view is the only view. Anything else is considered as "right-wing-bigots"

So when it comes to polution, it is ok for others to polute in the process of producing our gas. We all pay high price because we depend on it, then they turn around blaming everything else you could think of, but the TRUE.

Don't get me wrong...hehehe...I won't vote for John Mc.Cain because is a LIBERAL!
Is true that we won't have anymore POOR people in America after of 8yrs of Hillary or Obama? So is it fair to say that there were NO POOR people right after 8yrs of Bill Clinton? and all the POOR people we see today are generated by the the Bush Administration?...really?....Think people think!!! 1000yrs from now, no matter where we live and under which government, there always will be rich people and poor people...ACCEPT IT

Socialist is more fair alright...everyone is POOR fairly..., except for the government.
