you might get some size 6 circle hooks and a can of sweet corn... Drill some holes in the can to make it easier to get it on the hook...

the were both released, even though most people would have killed the carp or the drum, I see no reason to. To me, I just enjoy catching fish, and would like to keep catching them so I always release them. They were both healthy and released just fine. I will remember not to gill them next time. Thanks for the info! Yes I am stationed here on hood. Well said.....

congrats on the fish man. wouldnt worry to much about hurting a carp, i have seen them survive about everything, but i dont have alot of experience with drum. biggest one i have gotten was several years back and weighed in at 22 lbs. that was a nice one.

That looks like a spot on Cowhouse Creek where I cuaght several 20+ carp with a shrimp flavor dough bate while fishing for catfish back in the early 90s when I was station there.
