yea tell me about it if your not there early you will be sol just so many people out there on the banks and the thing that gets me is the trash they leave on the ground. how hard is it to take a trash bag with you and pick up your trash. i guess its just lack of commen sense or respect who know just my 2 cents

I know. Always pack out what you pack in. Leave it better than you found it. I wish I was a warden. i'd get that place cleaned up.

another thing that gets me there is how many people take undersize fish home that is just crazy to me but one day they will get cought and then wish they never did that

I was out last Saturday with a friend at the steps, and we didn't see very much coming out. We both got one small male white in about 3 hours of fishing. Saw a few stringers with 1 or 2 fish on them, but nothing like what cats posted earlier. I think the guys in yaks, or boats, were having better luck hitting isolated schools, but still no real numbers. We went back toward the lake, 'bought 100 or so yards from the big bend back to the left.

I have to agree with the trash statements; it looked real bad. It really ticks me off that people just don't care about that stuff. I've thought about taking a bag with me next time, and just picking up everything I can on the way out, but then I think people will see that and just say "hey, look at that chump picking up other people's trash" and then just litter more. Feels kinda like pissing on the sun to put it out.

if you start picking up other peoples trash the more they are going to throw on the ground. i find it funny that my son is just 3 and he knows better that. but no matter were you go to bank fish there will be someone leaving trash on the ground

My son and went out there sunday, fished off the bank and only caught three keepers. We walked all the way back to the spot that i was catching them in my kayak, but didnt do any good this time.

make me a warden and I'll have those people keeping the undersized fish cleaning up the place

I agree its a dang shame how people trash out the place! And the undersized fish! Come on, what can you possible get out of a fish that small! Heck if your fishin cause you like it, you dang sure aint starvin! I guess it has to do with how your raised if you know what I mean. You just know better than to do that. Anyways, might go out there this week. I'll give a report if I do.

Even if you are fishing to put food on the table those dinks take more effort to clean than the return in food value. It is low lifes being low lifes . My question is how many of you call the G.W. when you see people with undersized fish or throwing trash on the ground??? Both are against the law. I have the G.W. # on the cell for white trash(or any color) folks like that.

I have been fishing down stream of the steps... you should see the amount of trash floating down the river. It's getting worse by the day. Last month, there was very little trash at all. Just shows ya what the spawn fishing does to the lake...

There and the Log Jam very disgusting. Some people just don't have any pride. I wish at times I was Game Warden.
