havent tried this year. couldnt find them last yr.... only picked up a couple on super duper.'
i guess they school like every where else, but i never saw them last year.... kind of muddy then too.

Hey I was thinkin that maybe we could get about 5 Guys together this year for a sting on the bastards that were nettin the sandies last year under the Bridge at the Firewheel Location... once i start seein them again and the Cops nor warden catch them... i'll start taken pix and video them in action! anyone down for a little back up so to speak! hahaha There were usually 4-6 of em last year...

fished from 1230 to 130 ish, caught 2 sandies and 1 small crappie. fish do not seem to be very aggresive. had 2 others bites, but seemed like they really did'nt want it. good luck all

Do you have to hop the curb to park at Firewheel? I don't think my little car will do that without damaging itself.

yes. you can park at in the parking lot on centerville. where all the bike riders park

fished two spots for sand bass nothing. then i walked the creek a ways and found em.caught about 14 .kept 7 nice ones in an hour and a half. biggest was 15 1/2. all others were a thick 14 to 14 1/2 inches.if they aren't in one place then walk the creek for another spot.i about gave up after first 2 spots. bigguns hit matzou minnow . skunked at trout stocking in rowlett in 30 minutes. too windy there. gl

Lol I figured that much.Some of the spots i fish dont afford that kinda of time if you know what I mean.Youd be gettin pulled in by at least two people before you can make a pause.lol

well i went today from 4 till dark... DIDN'T GET ONE HIT!! only people that i know that caught anything was Tarponfly... he was usin minows... NOT ME!! i used all the jigs in my box... spinners... jerk baits... small plastics... swim baits... and a couple different crankbaits.... NO LUCK!! I SURE HOPE IT RAINS AND STAYS IN THE 70's!!!! i know ya'll are as ready as I am!!!
