the bizarre musical taste of the LSCB got me thinking....what else do we share that might be on the strange or even somewhat fringe side of things..."outside of society, wait for me"-patti smith

so in danger of sounding like a most terrible my space poll.....

dessert island game.......what you would take if you were gonna be stuck on a desert island for the rest of your like...

3 favorite things in the following categories book, cd, movie and one extra thing...(don't be lame a chose like a cell phone or something) you get 2-3 per response..a. and b. and if necessary..... c.

soooo...mine are...

Books-
"hitchhikers guide to the galaxy"
"finnegans wake"...I mean lets face it you could spend a life time studying this book and never understand this literary joke played on the world and never get board!
"a wrinkle in time"..this book owns...the first time I ever thought out side of the box...

CD's

Bob Dylans-Nashville skyline
Nirvana-nevermind
TMBG-lincoln...

Movie's

"ghost busters"
"Dr. Strangelove"
"the big laboski"

and the one item...a guitar

just thought this might be a interesting thread.....

The extra item(s), would be a CD/DVD player and fishing tackle.

I want the fishing tackle for the obvious reasons on an island.

The CD/DVD for the following:

Movies: Kelly's Hero's
The Searchers
The Quiet Man

Audio Books: Anything from Brian Jaques' Red Wall series.
Any of Tony Hillerman's Navajo Police series.
Jeffery Devers The Bone Collector.

I know this isn't with in the specified guidelines, but it is what I would want with me.

Movie: Jaws

Books: well.....I haven't read much in a while. A few years ago, I was on a reading kick & really enjoyed the "Prey" series by John Stanford - so I'm open to suggestions.

CDs: I never listen to them (I just leave the radio on the Ticket)

Extra item: Coors light - aka - the Colorado Kool-aid
