 Which abu garcia round reel is the best all around reel ?????

I'm looking for a versatile reel that has castability in all wind conditions. Looking at 4600c4, 4600c5 mag, 5600ext-pro.......????

Already have the revo stx. Would like to complement it with an abu round. So...two votes so far for the 4600c5.

I always liked the 5500's, they were workhorsed. But the 4600 is the same reel just smaller. I would go with the 4600 if that is the type reel you are looking for.

Always liked the 4600c4. Ive switched most of my reels over to the Revo, but still use one for c-riggin.

I've had 3 4600C's for about 25 years now and they take a lickin and keep on tickin. I don't use them near as much as my newer, lighter, reels, but they are ever dependable.

most dependable reel they make....i still use a couple that are at least 20 years old!
